It was the ultimate opening of an exhilarating week, with Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen paying an official visit to the ever-growing ControlPay Kyiv office just 24 hours after the spectacle.
The Dutch minister visited Ukraine last week during an official three-day trade mission. She spoke with Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko and took several meetings with Ukrainian entrepreneurs, Ukraine Today reported. "With this visit we hope to pave the way for closing new contracts and expanding existing ones,” says Ploumen, according to Ukraine Today.
“That is why the Association Agreement is of such importance: it is about the economic and political reforms and taking away obstacles, to make trade flow easier," the official said.
With a presence in Ukraine since 2004 and a staff of over 150 employees ControlPay is one of the largest Dutch employers in Ukraine. ControlPay has a long-term commitment to Ukraine and has been investing in further expansion in the last 2 years.
