DHL-GF CEO Scharwath grounds plan for more freighter flights

DHL Global Forwarding appears to be making a U-turn on plans to bolster air cargo operations with more full freighter flights.
Following a strong summer, its chief executive in the US, David Goldberg, suggested the operator was looking to add new routes and capacity to operations.
“We forecast that markets like the US will continue to increase and, as the market-leading air freight forwarder, we just can’t live on commercial capacity,” Mr Goldberg said.
